2013 Holiday Recap - Part 1: Halloween

Better late than never, right??

Mistake #1: only buying 2 (carving) pumpkins this year.

Mistake #2: Carving them in front of Claire.

She really wanted to draw on the pumpkin, so I let her draw on the back of what I already carved.  Only then, she wanted me to cut out her design.  Next year, we'll make the jump to 4 pumpkins.

6 months.
It works out well that Lyla was born earlier than Claire, but fits into all the next size clothes.  So, at 6 months, she was in Claire's old 9-mo stuff!

 Claire was sharing her leopard costume that Nonnie made her.

Halloween night!  Our neighbors had a pre-trick-or-treating party in their driveway: fire pit, apps, beer, wine and capri sun.  I LOVE where we live!!

Neighborhood kiddos: Lilia, Olive, Brady, Mea, Claire and Nolan. (Not pictured, Lyla and Alex).

We'll work on Daddy's costume next year.

 Finn and Anya came to join us for trick-or-treating - 2nd year in a row!

We did our street and the next one over. Claire got a bit tired about half way through!
