Christmas Extravaganza - Part 1

Ok, I've got my glass of red wine, my Packer snuggie and my computer.  I'm ready to recap the past few weeks of Christmas extravaganza.

Ryan and I thought we could do our normal travel schedule and just bring Claire along - HA!  It all worked out, we got to see (almost) all the families and had a wonderful time...I just wouldn't exactly say that it was relaxing!

Part 1: Madison
During the 1st 2 days of my vacation Claire still got to go to Jen's.  This was so I could run around town finishing up Christmas gifts, vacuuming and packing.  I thought that would be the end of the whirlwind...nope.

On Tuesday night we drove down to Madison - including an exciting bout of freezing rain in Mauston and a new route home.  Ryan asked "How careful is careful with a 10-month old in the back".  Not careful enough.

On Wednesday we stopped by Demco (Gpa's office) to show off Claire.  Scratch that - so Gpa Mark could show Claire off.  He literally introduced her to every single employee!! I think he even checked to see if anyone was at the loading dock he could talk to.  I don't remember though because he ditched us part way through - I think we were slowing him down.

After that we stopped by GGma's temporary (nursing) home to celebrate Christmas.  (Side note, I believe she's back home now - yeah!).  Alicia and Kellie (cousins I haven't seen in 3 years stopped by) so it was quite the reunion!

Claire had fun exploring the sun room.

Opening her 1st present.  Surprisingly GGma didn't go nuts! Only 1 toy and some very cute outfits.  (Only problem is the toy doesn't have a volume switch.  Luckily it has on/off - found that!).

Anyone remember the picture of these 2 from the cabin - exact same pose!

Kisses!

Checking to make sure GGma's nose is still working.

The ladies (Ggma is an angel!)
