We have a bit to catch you all up on...
Here is our June update:
We had lots of visitors - actually all in one weekend! Paige came to town for a walk in support of his niece who passed away in January. That same weekend Koepkes made the trip from Milwaukee (well, they were really visiting Sarah, but we're a close 2nd!).
On Friday we all went to Kenwood Park for a picnic. We had started at Cedar Lake but couldn't find any grills to cook dinner there, so went with plan B. This was not stressful at all...
It was a perfect summer bbg with brats, chips, beer and melted Jell-O. Who knew there were different directions to make finer Jell-O! (Though apparently Nathan knew).
Claire was 'velcroed' to Pop Pop.

Pop Pop and Claire went to check out the drummers at the other end of the park.
Don't mind the watermelon/Jell-O stains...

Saturday morning we attended the 'Miles for Malory' walk with Paige and family. I think it took us about 2 hours to walk the 2+ miles around Lake of the Isles. In our defense there were roughy 8 adults and 5 kids in our group!
Practicing before the actual walk.
She looks like such a girl (ie not baby or toddler) in this picture!

Sat night Koepkes came over for a Mexican fiesta. We decided it would also be a good photo op to get both kiddos in the tub. (Isaiah, I edited a few of these - your welcome. Your Aunt Sarah has no regard for privacy!)
Claire shared some of her frozen Go-Gurt. Very 'Mexican Fiesta'!
Then it was bath time, though neither one of them was looking real thrilled with the idea...
Awwww....
It seems I was telling Claire something very important here - probably discussing the difference between boys and girls (note the cropping!).
Apparently we took no photos of adults, just kids! Though that seems to be the way we do things now days!
Thanks for a fun weekend everyone!
