Christmas Whirlwind

We were lucky enough to have Ryan's family staying with us for A WHOLE WEEK! (They might not have found themselves so lucky...). Dan, Kristin and Liz got the nursery (Liz got to try out her cousin's new crib. Seems to work well!). Betsy and Paige got the pull-out couch - how romantic!

Thanks to the snowstorm we stayed home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (this was secretly what I wanted all along!!). So we took advantage and cooked, ate and slept a lot!

We also figured this having Liz around was good practice for us - and by good practice I mean her parents got up with her at 4:30 (she was still on East Coast time) and then we got up at 8 or 9 to play, or watch her sleep :)

Here are a few family photos:

Liz loving Megan and Ella's Bobby chair.

Maybe not...
Uncle Ryan - not too shabby!
Oops...spoke too soon (Kristin and Dan didn't love that we introduced Liz to Spencer).
Kisses from Aunt Molly (the day before Liz would open up her mouth to try to kiss you when you kissed her - too cute! Today she just looks sleepy).

Hmmm...Aunt Molly doesn't do so badly either! Except for buying a cute reindeer hat that was too small.
FYI - this is the ONE picture that Ryan took of both Liz and me. The other pictures are just zoomed in on Liz (I see who is his favorite) OR the pictures are blurry.

Christmas Day we had the Piper clan over (Paige's family) and decided our house is DEFINITELY NOT kid proof!! Olivia (5), Andrew (3) and Ally (1 1/2) all pointed that out :)

Funny quotes from Christmas:
"I'm done". Ally to Paige (though Paige will tell you she was talking about being done with the Hershey's kisses.)
"Um, where we put our money". Dan on round 2 of "Game" where you can only use 3 words to describe the clue.
"Bank". Dan. Same game. Same round. Same clue (the word was "Bank of America"). Hilarious if you know how to play!

On the 26th we met up with the Bach clan at Marcia and Bill's house. Here is a picture of Great Grammy, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (a 3rd on the way).
