We had our 2-month check up - including shots. Claire was actually pretty good. She didn't even scream through the entire check up (like she did at her 2-week). The nurse was good and did the shots pretty quickly...but Claire didn't see it coming. I would say her train of thought went a little something like: "Hey guys, (looks at mom and dad). I love you! (smile). What are we going to do tod---WHAT THE!?!?! AAAAAHHHHHHH"
Thankfully she calmed down pretty quickly. I took her home and she slept for a good chunk of time (unusual as she really only takes cat naps now). Dr. Malvey also said that you get one of two patters: 1) babies take long naps during the day but then are up a couple times at night or 2) the sleep through the night but only take 20-40min catnaps during the day. Claire has opted for choice number 2 and we are glad!
Her 2-month stats:
Height: 22" (31%)
Weight: 11# 10 (68%)
Head: 15.5" (64%)
As you can see she is taking after mom in the height category and dad in the head circumference category :)
