We owe a HUGE thank you to Pop Pop for babysitting last Friday night so we (Dan, Kristin, Trisha, Andrew, Ryan and I) could go to our first Twins game in the new stadium. Pop Pop offered to babysit the girls and we said SURE!
The plan was to leave him here with the girls around 4pm. He would then be alone with them for the next hour or so until Grammy arrived. What we didn't plan on was that exactly at 4pm both girls were starving and CRANKY!! Kristin and I tried to calm them before leaving but that didn't work so well...so we left Pop Pop with 2 screaming girls :) Andrew said (and we all agree) that Paige was the perfect person to leave them with because he never gets mad :)
Reinforcements (i.e. Grammy) arrived at 5:30 which was good because apparently Paige never even had a second to go to the bathroom! Though we didn't realize that we had starved Grammy all night (not having told her it was ok to eat the food in the house) :)
We got home around 10:30 to find they had called in several more reinforcements: Gpa Mark, Gma Ellen, GGma Muriel and Pete (Paige's brother). Thanks to all for taking care of our girls!
Here we are (notice the big smiles - children...what children??)
