Grandma Ellen and Pop Pop

It's been a bit since I've posted anything - mainly because I got a taste of how busy life will be when I go back to work!  I am part of a writing cohort with my district and I took part in a 3-week institute in July.  We were actually quite lucky though, instead of having to a) find daycare for 3 weeks and b) pack Claire up in the morning and get her someplace we had 2 lovely grandparents agree to staying with us!

We are forever in debt to Gma Ellen and Pop Pop (for many reasons) though the most recent is not only taking care of our daughter but also sleeping on the pull-out couch!  Unfortunately we are out of bedrooms so the only place left for anyone to stay is our living room!

Claire kept the two busy taking walks, helping Gma Ellen make dinner (or watch her make dinner from the excersaucer in the kitchen) and taking Pop Pop on play dates!

Besides the first morning when I left for class (and Claire was crying!) she was generally quite happy to hang with Gma Ellen.  As seen below -

Gma Ellen took the first week and a half and then Pop Pop came in for the second week.

Claire helped him work his biceps.

And made sure to have plenty of time to chat!

After Paige left we shipped Claire of to Marys for two days and to my friend Lynnea's for one day.  THANKS everyone for all your help!! Claire loved all the attention :)
