I think we'll have to add this book to our nursery library, as we have had quite the experiences lately thanks to our little bundle of joy!
Thursday I put a cute outfit on Claire in anticipation of our dinner visitors - Uncle Mitch and Kalin (thanks for dinner by the way - delicious!.) We had run out of Pampers diapers and were now using Huggies. We have now learned we do not love Huggies (newborn size at least) since they don't fit her as well. Example A: we had a little leak...so much for the cute outfit. I should have realized this was a foreshadowing of later that night...
1 am. Ryan gets up to change Claire before I feed her (what a good husband!). I was turning the corner to her room and saw Ryan literally jump back and yell "WOAH!". Projectile poop. No joke. She launched poop onto herself, her pjs, Ryan's robe, the changing pad cover and best yet the papers sitting on top of the hamper!! Quite impressive!
Needless to say we went out and bought a new bag of Pampers! Which actually I found out we didn't really need do to because Great Grandma Anderson (or Great Great Grandma Anderson as she calls herself!) bought out lower Wisconsin of any newborn diapers, clothes and towels. Gma Ellen is coming up to stay this coming week when Ryan goes back to work. She said her car is full of diapers (3 boxes!!) and clothes for Claire :)
