Why Claire?
Several people have asked why we picked the name Claire? Well, it met my criteria of being 1) short 2) devoid of many/any "s" sounds and 3) doesn't end with an "ee" sound. It also met Molly's criteria of 1) hasn't had a student with the name (or at least a student she didn't like) 2) couldn't also be a common boy's name. Plus, we both liked the fact that it has a French origin, meaning "clear" or "famous".
We also realized that Paige's dad's name was Claire, so it is nice to have that family connection.

How wouhaw she's so pretty !! Molly you should have seen the kids when Cassie and me showed the picture of Claire on the Pb ! They all were like "Oooooh" and espacially Lila and you can imagine her making a "oooooh" sound :p
