I have been AMAZINGLY lucky to have my mom here this week helping out. She has been cooking for us daily, helping to clean our house (AND the cat litter box!!), snuggling with Claire (so I can sleep), singing to Claire (so I can take a shower) and sitting by patiently while I cry (for no apparent reason half the time).
Currently she is making me a recipe and grocery list of easy meals that I can make in the coming weeks. I will definitely miss her next week. Ryan suggested we bottle up some of her energy and save it for a rainy day!
Today the three of us went to the mall and made 2 stops - impressive! Claire slept the whole time :) I'm sure when I go alone with her she'll scream at the top of her lungs, but at least I have 2 outings under my belt.
Mom will be joining us on our 2-week doctor's visit this Friday then she's leaving Saturday. We'll be sad to see her go. Hopefully we won't have worked her too hard and she'll be back soon :)

I'm so glad you update your blog so often! I love looking every day for new pictures and updates. I'm glad your mom was able to come and help out. Just think 20 some years from now you will be helping Claire out with her baby! I can't wait to come over and see that beautiful little girl!
