Grammy and Pop Pop Visit

We were very lucky to have Grammy (Betsy) and Pop Pop (Paige) in town for a long weekend.  True to form we were quite busy!  A few of our activities:

• We ate out for lunches (plural!)
• Went to the MOA (and actually shopped!)  We also realized that (once we were there) we had forgotten to pack nipples for the bottles! Uncle Andrew came to the rescue and picked some up from our house before meeting us for lunch at the mall.  Yeah Andrew!!!  I also tried to nurse (in one of the lounges) for the first time...that didn't go so well! I think it would have been better had I locked myself in a dressing room!
• Got our nails done (well only the adult females partook in this), drank wine (mmmmm.....)
• Ate a Thanksgiving feast (cooked by Grammy)
• Took our first trip away from home (to St. Cloud) and met Great Grammy, Great Uncle, Great Auntie, 2nd cousin Casey, Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunt Jan.   

It was wonderful having them in town!  I fed Claire in the morning and then came downstairs to waiting arms.  Knowing Claire was in loving hands I got to take long showers, fold laundry and relax! 

Ryan and I also went on our first date!  On Saturday night Grammy and Pop Pop babysat while we went to Redstone (I might have yawned during dinner...) and then to see Alice in Wonderland (save your money).  It was very reassuring to know Claire was in good hands.  Even better, we came home to find that the kitchen floor had been mopped, laundry was being washed and the den had been dusted (something I had been meaning to do for about 5 weeks)!!  Grammy even cleaned the litter box!!!  Wow. 

After a long wait and a delicious breakfast at the Original pancake Ryan, Grammy, Pop Pop and Claire ventured out into the sun for a photo shoot.
