So we're hoping we won't have to use the Pavlik harness...but...
At our last pediatrician visit we learned that first-born girls who are breech are at a higher risk for hip dysplasia (a problem with the formation of the hip joint). So, this Friday we have an appointment for an ultrasound for Claire's hips. If there is a problem she will have to wear a Pavlik Harness. Online it says they wear it for about a month. We're crossing our fingers that everything is ok! (As mom doesn't want to have to deal with that when changing diapers or putting her in a car seat!).

We are saying prayers! It's so hard to not worry, your mind just races with possibilities. No matter what happens, Claire is a beautiful, healthy, happy girl and she will do great. We are thinking of you!
